Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains what Knightverge Legacy and Roll Combat do with your information, in plain words. It covers this website and the online tabletop.
In short
- What we collect
- Account details if you make an account, and what you create in the tools: tables, Personas, chat and notes.
- Who controls it
- Sparkthunder Entertainment, publisher of Roll Combat.
- Do we sell it?
- No. We run no advertising and no cross-site tracking.
- Who sees it
- The people at your table, and the providers who host the service for us.
- Under 18s
- Welcome from age 13. Please read this with a parent or guardian.
- Your rights
- Ask to see, correct, delete or take a copy of your information at any time.
1. Who we are
Knightverge Legacy is published by Roll Combat, a brand of Sparkthunder Entertainment. In this policy, “we” means Sparkthunder Entertainment, which decides how and why your information is used.
Questions about this policy or your information: our contact page.
2. What we collect
Browsing the site, reading the rules and using the builders needs no account. We collect information in three ways:
- Account details if you make an account: your email address, a display name and a sign-in credential, held by our sign-in provider.
- What you make and do in the tools: tables you create or join, Personas, chat messages and dice rolls, journal entries, handouts, notes and any images you upload. Other people at your table can see what is shared with the table. A Game Master can also keep things hidden from players.
- Settings kept in your browser, such as dice and sound preferences and saved encounters or homebrew. These stay on your device unless you sign in and save to a table. See the cookies and storage page for the full list.
We do not run advertising, we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking tools, and we do not collect payment card details on this site.
3. How we use it
- To run your account and your tables, and to show your Personas, rolls and messages to the people you play with.
- To keep the service safe, fix problems and prevent misuse.
- To answer your messages to us.
- To meet legal obligations.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on running the service you asked for (your contract with us), our legitimate interest in keeping it safe and working, your consent where we ask for it, and legal duty.
5. Where it is kept
We play with people all over the world, so your information may be stored and handled in countries other than your own, including by our providers. Where the law requires safeguards for moving information between countries, such as standard contractual clauses, we use them.
6. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Account details | While your account is open, then deleted when you close it, except what the law makes us keep. |
| Tables, Personas, chat and journal | Until you or the table’s owner delete them, or the account is closed. |
| Messages you send us | As long as needed to help you, then deleted. |
| Backups | Overwritten on a regular cycle, so deleted information leaves backups after a short delay. |
| Settings in your browser | Until you clear them. We cannot see or delete these. |
7. How we protect it
Connections to the site are encrypted. Access to stored information is limited to the people and providers who need it, and a Game Master’s hidden notes are kept out of what players receive. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy, or stop using it for a purpose. Depending on where you live (for example the UK, the EU, California and other places), the law gives you these rights formally, and you may also object to or limit certain uses, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority.
You can delete a Persona or table yourself in the tools. To use any other right, or to close your account, contact our contact page. We will answer within the time the law allows, and tell you if we need to check it is really you. We will not treat you worse for using your rights.
We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, because we do not track you across sites. We do treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request not to share your information, which we do not do in any case.
9. Players under 18
Knightverge Legacy is a game for all ages. You must be at least 13 to make an account or join an online table. Where the law in your country sets a higher age for using online services without a parent’s permission, you need that permission. If you are under 18, please read this policy with a parent or guardian.
We do not show advertising to anyone, we do not sell anyone’s information, and we collect only what the tools need to work. Chat at a table is visible to the people at that table, so please do not share personal details such as your address or school. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, tell us at our contact page and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell signed-in users on the site.
